Readerly vs. Writerly text can be precived as being looked at in different ways. When we are talking about the readerly text, barthes is referencing the idea of the writer already prefixing the ideas that the reader should understand. When i think about what he is saying i belive that he is getting across the idea that the readers in the "readerly" text do not have the ability to experiment and put there own ideas in the head about the story, but most everything is alreadly layed out. They focus on elements where imaginiation can not be explored. When we look at "Writerly" text, the ideas are for a  more imaginitave mind. The reader can have a say in the what the story is laid out as, and less factors are in the text determining the outcome of the situation, and it provides freedom. Writerly text gives the concept of "imaginiation" and understanding different meanings to the reader. These two differnt styles that barthes talks about can be used for each different type of text.
